2015 MLS Predictions

Here are my picks for the 2015 MLS season that kicks off tonight in Los Angeles:

Eastern Conference Regular Season Champion: New England Revolution
Western Conference Regular Season Champion: LA Galaxy

Supporter’s Shield: New England Revolution

MLS Cup Final: New England Revolution vs. Seattle Sounders

MLS Cup Champions: Seattle Sounders

Brazilian Kaka’ (now with Orlando City) is my pick for 2015 MVP

MVP: Kaka’

Newcomer of the Year: Kaka’

Breakout star: Kekuta Manneh

KAKUTA MANNEH of the Vancouver Whitecaps is my choice for breakout star in 2015

Biggest Surprises of the Season: Montreal Impact makes the playoffs; Columbus challenges for Supporter’s Shield; NYFC finishes higher than NYRB

Most of these picks are likely to look pretty silly at the end of the season (they always do!), but it’s still fun to make them. Today, on Day One, all things are possible.

  1. Hey I saw the video on editing a strat player card. How do I put a * by a player name to avoid data corruption – like strat did with the S. Marte* Arizona card this year. I’m worried about data corruption. We have a league with the duplicate cards in it – you know a Jon Lester Boston card in use and two more in our free agent category, the St. Louis one and the total card. Please help if you can. Thanks. We’ve been playing strat since 1962 and this is our first year with the windows game. We don’t know much about computer programs. Thanks again.

  2. Joaquim Oliveira

I like some of your picks ,I’m a Revs fan but I don’t think that we have the defenders to get us to the Final again , we lost AJ Soares and he was huge to us , to me the Sounders will be in the MLS cup final because of their offense and the way that they play at home , they are very strong and because I’m Brazilian I will be rooting for Kaka to have a great season but I’m not sure about Him being the MVP , I would say maybe Dempsey but I hope that you are right
