Submission Guidelines for OneForFive.com Print Edition
Are you a budding (Official Historian of Major League Baseball) John Thorn? A Joe Posnanski-ite, a Roger Angell-in-the-making? Are you the Bill James of your draft league? Have you written for the APBA Journal, StratFan, All Star Replay, Strat-O-Matic Review, Pro-Gamer…or have you read articles in one of those publications and thought, “Meh. I can do better than that.”If so, then Paul Dylan, editor and publisher at OneForFive.com Print Edition, would like to hear from you. If you have an idea for a column or article, or if you’ve already written something that you think is worthy of being immortalized in print, please contact the editor at firstname.lastname@example.org and send a brief summary of your article, including headline and proposed word count.
If you are an artist the magazine can use your work, too!
I can’t promise to publish your work. Sometimes the submissions I receive just don’t fit the magazine. It’s never personal. I can promise to read it, to think about it, to consider it fairly, and, perhaps most importantly, to respond with gratitude. Because I’m a writer, too, and I know the courage it takes to submit your work for consideration.
Should it turn out that your work does fit, however, you’ll have the honor of having your name in print alongside such luminaries in the field as John Thorn, Scott Simkus, Jeff Polman, Kenneth Heard, Will Kolodzie, Greg Barath, and Chris Palermo, among others. You’ll be read by hundreds and your words will lie in ink on coffee tables and bookshelves for who-knows-how-long.
Send an email to email@example.com with any questions, comments, or masterpieces of arts and literature you may have.
