Win a Strat-O-Matic College Football Game!

In a bid to promote Strat-O-Matic College Football and his new Strat-O-Matic Podcast, Steve Reiter (aka @coolbeans59) has announced a contest in which the winner will receive the new 2012 edition of Strat-O-Matic College Football.

Here is the link to the contest (you’ll have to sign up as a member of the Strat-O-Matic Fan Forum in order to enter).

Here are the contest rules:

Name the Top 5 QB cards in the 2004-2010 Strat-o-matic College Football sets (not necessarily in order of 1 thru 5) – Player & Year.

The formula I’m using is the Football Ratings Guide formula with the following twist: if the Must Run averages 7 yards, then it counts as a completion.

The first winner with all 5 players correctly wins a copy of the new college football game (with Card Image). If no one gets all 5, then the first person with 4 of the 5 will be declared the winner, etc. If you’ve already pre-ordered the college football game, you can choose to have your money refunded or get an extra copy of the game (to introduce a friend to SOM )

The winner will be announced at the end of the college football podcast (to be released in late August with the college football game).

Post your entry here in this thread.

You can have one entry per week until the contest ends on August 15th.

Not having the College Football game or ratings guide puts me at a disadvantage, but since cards are computed based on real-life stats, I can make a reasonable guess as to who the 5 best quarterback cards were for those years. Here is my entry:

2008 Sam Bradford
2007 Tim Tebow
2006 Colt Brennan
2005 Vince Young
2010 Cam Newton

I hope I win, but I wish you all the best of luck!
